PROJECT DETAILS

Modern construction demands a modern garden, and this project in Petrčane is a perfect example of that synergy. Limited green spaces required detailed consideration regarding the choice of plants that would adequately fit into the given architectural framework and follow the narrative defined by contemporary materials. The goal was to create a garden that serves as an extended outdoor living room, while the proximity and influence of the sea dictated the selection of resilient and authentic plant species. The result is a harmonious space where architecture and horticulture intertwine, creating a peaceful oasis right on the coast.

A special emphasis is placed on the entrance itself, where a sculptural olive tree dominates, accompanied by smaller mangave plants and green groundcovers. This combination of plants visually softens the white decorative stone mulch surrounding them, creating an elegant and refined first impression upon arriving at the property.
