PROJECT DETAILS
Project: Landscaping
Year: 2024
Location: Sukošan
Status: Finished

The combination of lawns and dry gardens in this project represents a winning formula for creating a contemporary exterior. The use of large stone boulders created a raised bed that provides the space with necessary dynamics, while carefully selected plant varieties, suitable for planting in stone, ensure an interesting garden appearance throughout the entire year.
The central lawn is shaped like a green lake, bordered by sculptural olive trees and the green verticals of cypresses, which create a perfect aesthetic transition from the stone building to the green surface itself. The project includes specific zones such as the "ship in lavender" and beds with species like Agapanthus africanus, Phormium tenax, and Cycas revoluta, which further emphasize the modern and luxurious character of this Mediterranean garden.
Središnji travnjak oblikovan je poput zelenog jezera, a omeđen je skulpturalnim maslinama i zelenim vertikalama čempresa koji čine savršen estetski prijelaz s kamenog objekta na samu zelenu površinu

The combination of lawns and dry gardens in this project has proven to be a winning formula for creating a contemporary exterior. Through the use of large stone boulders, raised beds were formed that provide the space with necessary dynamics and depth. The selection of plant varieties suitable for planting in stone ensures that the garden remains visually interesting and structurally rich throughout the year. The lawn is shaped like a green lake, harmoniously bordered by olive trees and elegant vertical cypresses that create a natural transition from the stone building to the soft green surfaces.
The project emphasizes the beauty of the coexistence between stone and Mediterranean flora through precisely planned "ships" in lavender and amoeboid-shaped garden beds. Every segment of the garden, from the raised stone sections to the expansive lawn, is designed to complement the architectural style of the house, utilizing species such as Agapanthus, Cycas, and lavender that excel in local climatic conditions. Together, these elements form a space that is not only visually striking but also a functional extension of the living area.
